Stranger Things actor swaps the Upside Down for a fresh hellscape in All Fun and Games preview

Natalia Dyer, the well-known star of Stranger Things, is trading in her encounters with demogorgons in Hawkins for a spooky adventure in Salem. She takes on the lead role in the upcoming horror film titled All Fun and Games, which tells the story of a group of teenagers who find themselves facing off against an evil spirit through a series of perilous games. We are thrilled to exclusively unveil the trailer for this highly anticipated movie, and it is safe to say that the footage is both eerie and captivating.

The trailer opens with a chilling display of unsettling scenes. As we watch, we are introduced to a character named Marcus, played by Asa Butterfield from Sex Education, with a haunting X carved into his forehead. Another intense moment features Natalia Dyer’s character, Billie, engaged in a tense struggle with an unidentified attacker. From the start, the trailer sets the stage for a suspenseful and thrilling narrative.

As the story unfolds, we get to know the characters as they contemplate how to spend their evening. They face a choice: whether to attend a local party or stay home alone in their house. However, a pivotal moment occurs when Billie’s younger brother, Jo, portrayed by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, accidentally discovers a cursed knife that appears to be connected to a dark history of violent crimes in Salem. Something sinister takes hold of Jo, possibly a demonic entity, leading him to coerce his sister and their friends into participating in a perilous game and a mysterious ritual involving the knife.

Things quickly take a turn for the worse when Marcus, influenced by the eerie inscription on the knife (“Tell me demon, am I it?”), undergoes a disturbing transformation, assuming an ominous new voice and persona. He proceeds to torment his friends with terrifying games of hide-and-seek and hangman, all while uttering the chilling proclamation, “It only ends when he wins.” The tension escalates as the trailer concludes with the characters ominously chanting, “I will play, I won’t quit,” ready to confront the menacing demon they are up against.

All Fun and Games is set to hit theaters and video-on-demand platforms on September 1st, leaving audiences eagerly awaiting the release of this spine-chilling film.
